Pep up your regular cup of tea with some comforting chai masala from Ammiji’s.

How do you like to drink your tea? I enjoy my morning cup of tea in the traditional desi style - tea leaves, water, milk and sugar all bubbling together in perfect symphony. I usually add some freshly grated ginger or tulsi for some added flavour. Chai in general is a comforting beverage. But if you get your hands on some good old chai masala, then you can really get cozy with a cup on a cold winter morning, such as today!

These chai masalas by Ammiji’s are the latest addition to our chai corner. I have tried chai masalas by some other brands before and somehow, none of them made the cut - some even made my chai taste like biryani - definitely not what one is looking for in their morning pick-me-up :/ These chai masalas by Ammiji’s don’t fall in that category - they are just the right mix of spices and flavour, and a pinch of either of these masalas can take your tea game up a notch.

Each of these chai masalas serve a different purpose, depending on the blend of spices/ herbs in it - vitality, immunity, digestion and classic. I ordered the sample pack to try them all, which came sustainably packed in little glass jars. I enjoyed all of them but the classic one is definitely my favourite. It’s just what one can expect in a warm cup of masala chai.

Ammiji’s has a range of traditional products and also has some limited edition seasonal products - I happened to order their gulkand gujiyas during Holi. A gujiya (or two) with a hot cup of masala chai made the festival perfect, despite being locked down at home!

You can order the chai masalas or any of their other products on Ammiji’s website. If you plan to order something, go ahead and use our exclusive discount code - ‘CLEAN10’ for 10% off on your order.
