Organic 'Chamkeela' Tooth Powder by Raw Beauty- for squeaky clean teeth!
We have (for the first time ever) tried our hand at tooth powder. This organic tooth powder (aptly called ‘Chamkeela’) has been formulated by Raw Beauty Wellness. We initially just got this to see what all the fuss was about and didn’t really expect to incorporate it in our regular dental care routine. But ‘Chamkeela’ turned out to be a pleasant surprise! It contains cloves, cinnamon, Himalayan rock salt, turmeric and activated charcoal – all of which are completely organic.
All you need to do it sprinkle some of this on your toothbrush and brush as usual. It doesn't foam like regular toothpaste, but the saliva in your mouth helps in creating a basic lather. It tastes nice and leaves your mouth feeling super fresh and clean- literally squeaky clean. Over time, we feel that it's helped in healing weak, bleeding gums and seems to also prevent formation of tartar.

We’ve been using regular toothpaste in the morning and this at night for the last couple of years now. Sometimes, we sprinkle this over regular toothpaste too – because it’s that addictive! We’re just being a little extra cautious by sticking to regular toothpaste once a day, but Raw Beauty and a lot of their happy customers claim that this can work as a complete replacement to toothpaste. Either way, this is definitely worth trying out. Fair warning - expect your toothbrush to turn yellow after using this!
